I am presently going through the same thing with brinks. You struggled with them for 5 months I have been doing this since April of 2021.
Even after they did an investigation and found that my claim was true they started to pay me off but they sent me each payment with the different claim number and the amount on the paper that was the claim amount was not what I was given back I was giving back say $55 claim amount they gave me $30 back they made me pay for the fees and transitional fees that the identity thief incurred so now I have written the Attorney General I have written the FTA I have written a law firm because this is $900 that I need brace is not good at paying people back their refund however it is in their policy that if there money is taken illegally and by any way shape or form that they will refund it but they don't they have been treating me like I'm wrong. Even after their investigation they started to pay me they stopped paying me and never explained why they just keep throwing me back and forth between customer service Representatives and I've had it so now I'm going to get loud and let the public know and I'm getting an attorney and I'm going to sue them for the time that I've had to struggle with them for my mental health well-being and they're going to pay me more than $900 I promise when I read your complaint I couldn't believe how much like it mine is if you would contact me at my email lcowher2@***.com maybe you could give me some advice on how to retrieve this refund I would appreciate that and thank you.

My card was compromised in April of last year and I'm still fighting to get my money they're trying to say that they close my case for the simple fact that when I called in and gave them my verbal dispute when I realized that my card had been used unappropriately they didn't tell me that I had to send a written dispute in within the 10 days of filing my verbal dispute What they did tell me was that they were going to lock my card they never mentioned to me to change the PIN but if the card was locked why should I have had to change the PIN
but they didn't tell me that until all this stuff come about me trying to retrieve my money their customer service specialist never explain to me that I needed to change my PIN the only thing that they told me was the card was going to be locked and going to mail me another card out
o now they're saying I didn't get my written dispute in on time which I was unaware of that until I called back 2 weeks later to find out what was the status on my case and that's when one of the other customer service specialist mentioning me that Mr Lewis you were supposed to have your written dispute sent in 10 days upon you giving your verbal that was not explaining to me from the beginning it was not explained to me from the beginning that after they locked the card that I still had to change the pin number so they're trying to hold me accountable for all this and they don't want to give me my money their customer service is very poor at the brinks money card
u will have one representative to explain something to you and then the next time you will talk to a different representative they're telling you something totally different than what you heard the first time I've been confused through this whole ordeal and now they're trying to hold me accountable for the money that was taken out of my account the Republic Bank and trust is not saying too much of nothing but when I call the walmart.com amazon.com they're telling me that I need to contact my bank they didn't say nothing about it took 5 months of me hearing that there was no errors found and I took it upon myself to call the retailers that were on my bank statements and within two days mind you I was credited at $6,000 back into my account but for five whole months the brinks money card dispute analyst department was saying there was no errors found I did not receive any provisional money but they're trying to hold me accountable right now because of me not changing my PIN number after they had locked the card and said they were mailing me another card out my definition of locking the card is you can't use it anymore until the other one comes that's what I was told from that representatives there trying to cover up because there were mistakes made five months of hearing no errors found and I took it upon myself to make a few phone calls and within a day and a half I have retrieved over $6,000 of my money they're not being penalized for that 5 months of me hearing
no errors found and it took me a day and a half and door dash 6000 one week but they couldn't detect that there was errors found how can I possibly be in four places at one time they even tried to say to my card was used here in Indianapolis how could I be in four different stores at the same time of the day if my card hadn't been compromised am totally disappointed mentally I'm stressed About this situation if there's anybody that had a problem with the brinks money card and that was successful in getting don't mess with the brinks money card their money back I would appreciate it if you can contact me at my email address it's kld 238-****@***.com I truly will thank you

Went against my back
I called for refunds and I thought one was an unauthorized purchase, after hearing my options (Which defeats a point of a refund) to wait for a week or pay for 3 days shipping for a new card and the old one to be blocked (How can I make a purchase than?) I told her (Customer service rep) "No I don't want a refund, I was wrong about the mysterious purchase it came within the service and my bank is safe it has been 3 weeks since" she ignored me and blocked my bank anyway and reported it as "Stolen". After this I'm definitely going to switch, I don't care anymore or just never ask for a refund again be careful or accept the loss because this is ridiculous for a refund to be this difficult and how it took hours of my day.

They're still standing on there were no errors found from my card being compromised back in April of 2022 they're trying to hold me accountable for things that their customer service didn't not explain to me the procedure from the beginning and I'm being held accountable because I still have money out there with walmart.com and amazon.com and they're saying contact my bank so who am I supposed to turn to why should I take a loss for something that their customer service they're dispute analysis department failed to do just giving people jobs I'm looking for an attorney anybody has any regulation of me finding one please feel free to respond to this email
